Back in the days before the NY State Thruway and super highways...were the days of 2 lane highways....just like this one....so why not hop into the back of the family car...with all your brothers & sisters thier friends and neighbors...and aunts...uncles...cousins...grandma & grandpa and family dog "Chief"....scramble for a seat by the window...and enjoy an afternoon drive back to the 1960s on the roads of Western NY
This website is about all the familar places we looked foward to seeing from the back seat of our family car as we were out on Family outings back in the 50s & 60sWe have all the pictures in...now were waiting for you to send us the memories of good times you and your family had at all these great places! |
This website will work a bit differently....we have a collection of pictures pretty much of what we found while looking for pictures of Dunkirk...and although they are nice pictures...were hoping that everyone who visits this website will help us build a GREAT collection of Pictures.Were going to set up a list of those pictures we would like to see...and welcome everyone top send in thier requests too...favorite places we all have...and ask anyone who has one of those pictures to please send us a scan...so enjoy the pictures we have now...and help us build a really great collection!...Thanks |
